Artelia UK is part of an international, multi-disciplinary consultancy, engineering and project management group specialising in the sectors of building construction, infrastructure, water, industry and environment. The group employs over 6,000 people across  more than 30 countries.

Leadership

Mark Day, Managing Director

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Mark’s career has seen him undertake projects throughout the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and Dubai. He has vast experience leading the delivery of large multi-site programmes, including being part of the leadership team on the Pan-European Artelia Shell Programme.

Tim Naughton, Director

Tim is responsible for developing our work within the Private Sector and is also the Board Champion for our Young Professionals Network, supporting younger team members to develop their careers within Artelia. A Chartered Civil Engineer who has managed projects and programmes throughout the UK and in many other European countries, Tim has worked within Artelia Group for more than 20 years, initially on the Hotels at Disneyland Paris.

Ian Bailey, Director

Ian is our Public Sector Lead and has overall responsibility for Business and Marketing to support Artelia’s growth plans in the UK. He is a passionate advocate for bringing new talent into the business through Artelia’s Graduate Recruitment Programme.

Gurdeep Sahotay, Finance Director

Artelia’s strong commercial performance owes much to the financial management and controls implemented by Gurdeep since she joined the company in 2016. A qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience working in corporate finance, Gurdeep is responsible for working with the Board to set and monitor robust performance targets and provide financial certainty through effective reporting and controls. She joined the Artelia Board in 2020 and is responsible for developing new initiatives focused

Matt Buntine, Director

Matt Buntine is an Executive MBA Graduate and Chartered Civil Engineer experienced in leading complex estate development programmes in industrial, commercial and downstream oil and gas in Europe, Asia and Australia.

As lead for Artelia’s multi-site and programme management team for the past five years, Matt has been instrumental in developing new clients, improving our service offering, growing the team to over 40 strong and championing Artelia’s award-winning Mates in Mind, mental health awareness campaign.
