Winners of two APEA Awards

Congratulations to two members our Shell project team who were recognized for their contributions to the petrol retail industry at last night’s (Wednesday 5 November) annual APEA Awards in Coventry.

Peter Prescott won the nomination for Life-time Achievement Award for services to the petrol retail industry.

Peter Prescott has over 28 years’ experience within the petrol retail industry on both the client side and consultancy. Peter is Artelia’s Senior Design Manager currently working primarily on the Shell project in the UK and previously worked as Design Manager for Esso in both the UK and Ireland. He spent 16 years with Total working on construction and maintenance of their sites.

He has been pivotal in delivering cost effective design solutions and maintaining corporate design standards whilst challenging over design. He embraces innovation and increasing HSSE requirements.

He is a member of the Energy Institute and sits on the Energy Institute technical panel which he has done for the last 10 years. As part of the Energy Institute he has assisted with the update of two editions of the UK’s Blue Book service station guidance notes.

In addition, Bernard Beverley, Project Manager, was a runner up in the Outstanding Employee category.

Well done to them both, it shows our expertise and experience within the petrol retail industry.
