Artelia UK has co-hosted, with French colleagues from Sanae Architects, an NHS Study Tour of an innovative new Surgical Day Care Centre in Tours. Strategy and Estates Directors and Clinical Leads from the NHS met the Sanae design team and French clinical and theatre staff to discuss how, by rethinking adjacencies and space usage, the Tourangelle Surgical Centre anticipates up to a 40% increase in patient flow over the current method, which will lead to greater efficiencies and an improved patient experience.
