Artelia is delighted to be leading the roll-out of the new Jamie Oliver Deli by Shell format to over 500 of Shell’s UK service stations. Jamie Oliver Deli by Shell was launched on January 15 2019 and the pressure is on to deliver the programme of works across the country by 2020, with between six and eight counters launching each week.
This is one of the largest and fastest roll-out programmes delivered by Shell Engineering and Artelia’s Multi-Site team and is being managed alongside the annual capital programme. Being able to achieve the challenging programme to consistently high standards, with minimum disruption to the operation of the service station and within cost targets, relies on our team’s in-depth understanding of Shell’s objectives, site knowledge, ability to interpret design concepts by HRG into practical store formats, and the collaborative relationships built with our Shell framework contractors and supply chain.
Works range in complexity from refurbishment of existing Deli by Shell formats to new installations, with the location, age and layout of the building stock contributing to the complexity of the works required.
Commenting on the programme, Shell’s UK Retail Network Delivery Manager, Jennie Lane, said:
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Artelia for the role they are playing in helping us progress this important collaboration and to recognise your work in helping us deliver the Jamie Oliver Deli by Shell format at our Service stations, which is so important to the success of the collaboration.”
