Artelia has project managed the design and construction of the new Savoy Suite and remodelled Royal Suite at one of London’s most celebrated hotels, The Savoy.

Works to form the luxurious Savoy Suite, comprised opening up two existing suites and a standard guestroom on the 6th floor to create an elegant, contemporary space with bar and lounge area which offers superb vistas of the Thames and London’s skyline. Claude Monet resided in the same suite during his stays at The Savoy between 1899 and 1901 and was inspired by the vista to paint his famous series of London bridges. In recognition of its artistic connections, The Suite will feature an ever-changing contemporary art collection.

Completed, earlier this month, and ahead of schedule, is the existing Royal Suite. The suite  has been remodelled to enhance the lounge and lobby areas, adding contemporary elegance and F&B services.

Throughout, our team worked closely with the client, architects, ReardonSmith, interior designers, Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR) and the fit-out contractor to develop the cost plan, co-ordinate the programme of works within budget and minimise disruption to the hotel’s operations.
