Artelia promotes modular construction at Petroleum Industry’s leading event

APEA Live is the annual event for anyone connected with the petroleum industry. As a specialist supplier to the industry, Artelia UK, has long been a supporter, but this year’s event promises to be a big one for us.

Peter Prescott, Senior Design Manager, for our Shell project will talk at the Conference about how Shell has challenged Artelia to reduce construction times by introducing Modular systems into a build and to construct as many elements of a service station off site as possible. In addition, we are delighted that our modular construction in Grimsby is up for Service Station of the Year. The Grimsby project features a series of modular packages that include tanks, canopy and retail shop. Artelia has branded its standardised modular assembly initiative, Modulo. This is helping all stakeholders involved in the project to buy-in to the challenge and achieve the goal of 100% standardised modular assembly.
