Another successful Safety Week took place from the 16th – 20th March. It was presented by Paul Burrows our Head of Safety Health Environment and Quality, to 91 attendees in total, both internal and external at events in different locations.
The presentations were interactive focusing on three areas; Improving Risk Assessments, Near Miss Potential Incident Reporting and Emergency Actions. At the end of each section a short quiz took place with Paul testing peoples listening skills and learning’s.
A video was also played which provided a light entertainment break from an otherwise serious and important presentation. Paul would like to reiterate that “No Gorillas were hurt in the making of the video!”
Feedback from the sessions was very positive with people feeling they now have a better understanding of Risk Assessments and what Near Miss Potential Incidents are. This new understanding enforces the importance conducting assessments and reporting have in relation to Health and Safety in any situation.
