Celebrating Reservist Day

Artelia is keen to actively support any of our staff who are current reservists or who wish to become reservists. Associate, Richmal Hardinge, is a sea-going Officer in the Royal Navy Reserves in the rank of Lieutenant Commander specialising in submarine operations. Based at HMS President, Richmal invited Board Director, Ian Bailey, along to an Employer’s Briefing Breakfast to find out more about the benefits of engaging with and employing reservists and ex-military personnel. Ian was fascinated to hear more from a Royal Marine reservist talking about his dual role and the benefits that his military experience gives his civilian job and vice versa.

Ian commented:
“The Reserves offer people the chance to learn an array of versatile and interesting people and technical skills, do things they would never normally attempt and to meet a vast array of different people – all skills that make for a great project manager or consultant. I hope we can attract more people from this field to join Artelia”.
