Congratulations to Artelia Project Manager, Lloyd Bishop who has just received his Master of Studies in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge.
Lloyd has always had a keen interest in buildings that reduce impact on the natural environment. The Cambridge part-time master’s programme provided detailed learning around emerging trends and opportunities in the built environment, including: sustainability and resilience; health and well-being; energy efficiency; conservation and heritage – issues that Artelia is helping its clients to address on a daily basis.
Embarking on a postgraduate degree whilst working full time can be challenging in terms of balancing work and home life commitments, as Lloyd and others will testify, but is also extremely rewarding. Artelia is always keen to encourage people to enhance and extend their skills and learning and supported Lloyd with study leave and financial assistance.
All part of the company’s commitment to nurturing talent.
