Artelia is pleased to announce that Simon Cash, Director for Cost Management has accepted the role of Interim Chair for the London Constructing Excellence Club (LCEC). Artelia has been a member for a number of year and has found the club an excellent place for knowledge sharing and networking.
The LCEC is the London regional club for National Constructing Excellence, the single organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction, housing and regeneration. It’s mission is to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment.
The vision for the UK construction industry is to realise maximum value to all clients, end users and stakeholders and exceed their expectations through the consistent delivery of world-class products and services. Working with the whole of the supply chain and its regional partners to adopt the ideas set out in the Latham and Egan reports and embrace collaborative working and innovation.
Simon Cash comments:
“Taking on the interim role of chair of the London Constructing Excellence Club is a bit of a daunting task, but one that comes with its rewards. Artelia is a staunch supporter of the Constructing Excellence movement and taking on this role helps to reinforce our promotion of everything that it stands for in driving change in the industry across the supply chain.”
The LCEC provide monthly events, usually on the second Tuesday of the month in a Central London (EC4) location, to provide a technical learning forum for industry and networking for all construction sectors. The membership includes designers, consultants, contractors, clients, educational institutions, suppliers and sub-contractors.
