First Hydrogen Refuelling Station for Shell in the UK

Shell has launched its first hydrogen refuelling station in the UK at its Cobham service site on the M25, one of the UK’s busiest refuelling stops. Artelia acted as landlord’s agent, looking after Shell’s interests and ensuring safety during the complex installation. The new hydrogen station was supplied by ITM Power and is the first fully branded and public forecourt hydrogen refuelling site in the UK. It provides customers with hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles the ability to refuel simply and quickly.
We are now contracting directly with ITM on two further Shell Hydrogen Refuelling stations at Shell Beaconsfield and Shell Gatwick North. We will be project managing the civils works, prior to ITM arriving on site with the hydrogen equipment.
