Artelia is on a journey to transform its business in the digital space and we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Developer.

We are looking for someone to join us to take on a key role that will transform our digital offering – both client-facing and back-of-house. The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of the company’s business intelligence platform using Microsoft Power BI.

Purpose of Role

The Power BI Developer will work closely within the digital team to create and maintain reports and dashboards that meet the needs of the business and our clients. The role requires the creation of data models, dashboards, apps, reports and custom visuals in Power BI. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data, as well as ensuring that the data is accessible to the intended audience. The purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise in Power BI development to help the company achieve its business objectives by making data-driven decisions. The Power BI Developer will also play a key role in helping the company to stay up to date with new Power BI features and capabilities.

While you will be supporting the UK Artelia team, you will have the opportunity to become a part of the wider Artelia Digital Community of 110 specialists around the globe.

This is a full time role and you will be an important part of our future.

The role will require meeting key stakeholders face to face in the Artelia offices in London and Birmingham, however the role is output focused and flexibility will be the key to deliver these outputs.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Create, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Design and implement data models that align with business requirements
  • Collaborate with digital team to identify and resolve data issues
  • Create custom visuals in Power BI to enhance the reporting experience for end users
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and accessible to the intended audience
  • Continuously learn and keep up to date with new Power BI features and capabilities

Candidate profile

  • You will have experience or knowledge of Power BI, and ideally of the wider power platform.
  • You can demonstrate good understanding of how to communicate with data, and how to derive useful business insights from data.
  • You will be inquisitive and have an ongoing desire to keep ahead of the latest developments in your field.
  • A positive outlook and flexible thinking will be assets in troubleshooting and working with clients and colleagues.
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with colleagues at all levels of the business.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic team player.

Location and Benefits

You will be homed at our office in Holborn, London, but we offer flexible working arrangements that you would expect a company of our scale to offer.
