The Grenfell Tower Inquiry

We welcome the publication of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry’s Phase Two Report and hope that it helps all those affected by the tragedy. There is much in the Report from which the industry and its stakeholders can learn.

Artelia was appointed by The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation Ltd. as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyor and, until 5 October 2015, CDM Co-ordinator for the partial refurbishment of Grenfell Tower.

The Company’s roles were administrative in nature and did not involve responsibility for the design or selection of materials, or for ensuring that they complied with statutory requirements, including the Building Regulations.
