As we emerge from the unprecedented Covid Lockdown, the Royal College of Surgeons’ Barry Building redevelopment in Lincoln’s Inn Fields exemplifies how resilient and resourceful the construction industry really can be. In early March, as Covid restrictions tightened, our QS team worked hand in hand with project manager, Lendlease, main contractor, Wates and its supply…
This week marks Artelia’s 10th year working in the UK. Do you remember, 2010 was the year that David Cameron and Nick Clegg went to Downing Street, when Prince William and Kate Middleton got engaged and when the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland brought most of Europe’s aircraft to a standstill – sound familiar? We…

Over the years, Artelia’s Heritage team has learned firsthand of the enormous sacrifices and incredible courage of our Armed Forces, the Bletchley Park teams, the Women of World War II and those who operated the shipyards, factories and local defence volunteers who worked selflessly on the home front. We look forward to continuing to tell…

Artelia was deeply shocked and saddened by the devastating fire that destroyed Grenfell Tower on 14th June 2017. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by the tragedy.
Artelia was appointed by Kensington and Chelsea TMO as Employer’s Agent, CDM Co-ordinator and Quantity Surveyor for the partial refurbishment of Grenfell Tower.
We continue to co-operate with the relevant authorities investigating the fire and, as part of that, have been designated as a Core Participant at the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. Whilst not responsible for the design or the selection of materials at Grenfell Tower, we believe we have information which will be relevant to some of the issues being considered by the Inquiry.
