Bravo Zulu to HMS President’s Executive Officer, Lieutenant Commander Richmal Hardinge, who was in uniform yesterday. The Unit’s XO wasn’t at her own place of work on Reserves Day but instead, Artelia, allowed Richmal time away from work to give a talk on being a female leader in the Reserve Forces at the Department for Education, as part of the Civil Service 1% recruiting drive. She was introduced by Caroline Dinenage MP, who is Minister for Women and Equalities. The picture here is the recruiting stand at the DfE with Commander Maritime Reserves, who also attended the day of interactive leadership sessions, fitness training and Reservists’ experiences aimed at a Civil Service audience.
