The new seven-storey, 120 bed Premier Inn at Portsmouth Dockyard, with its stunning views over Portsmouth Harbour, HMS Warrior and the Spinnaker Tower, is receiving glowing 5 star reviews from visitors.
The hotel is a Whitbread freehold, self-build with Artelia as Project Manager. The building is curved to maximise use of the site and features enhanced brick and stonework treatments to reflect the heritage setting, opposite the historic Dockyard’s entrance. The scheme is a welcome addition to the area, replacing semi-derelict buildings which had been subject to fly-tipping. The hotel includes a branded Bar & Block steakhouse restaurant for guests to enjoy.
