Programmes of work continue for Hertfordshire

As a framework consultant to Hertfordshire County Council, Artelia has been entrusted with the delivery of a number of Capital Works programmes across the county, involving mainly occupied buildings. Key projects include a £10 million programme of works to replace roofs, window walling and boilers across 48 schools, where Artelia is providing project management, contract administration, CDM Co-ordinator and design services. To support the Council’s need for more primary school places, we also managed a programme of modular building extensions and alterations to five schools, with works completed in time for the new school year this September. We are also managing a programme of upgrade works to 14 fire stations for the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, which has been let via the framework.

Stakeholder liaison is a key feature of all these projects and we are able to bring very relevant experience to bear from our work with schools, Academies and public bodies across the country.
