Managing changing asset requirements.

Eastbrook is a PFI funded office complex comprising 14,000 sqm of modern, serviced accommodation, largely occupied by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and its subsidiary agencies.

Having occupied the building since 2003, DEFRA’s needs had changed and the department triggered a break clause in the lease and subsequent variation to refurbish key areas.

Artelia was appointed by the Operating Company, Eastbrook Facilities Ltd, to provide Project Management and Technical Advisor services in relation to the new occupier works and the office remodelling works.

Our team also carried out a technical assessment of the wider site to review power capacity, fire strategy: compliance with building regulations and documentation.
