Surrey County Cricket Club continues to invest in making the Kia Oval the UK’s largest cricket stadium. The Club’s latest development, One Oval Square, was overseen by Artelia and involved the creation of a three-tier stand boosting the ground’s capacity to 28,000 and a new building that curves around the perimeter of the ground providing state of the art Members facilities and a world-class hospitality venue.
On the ground floor is the C&E Entrance and ticketing, club shop and Member’s Entrance leading to the first floor with the sizeable Members’ Lounge with seating and catering facilities for 600 people, the Peter May Garden, Member’s terrace and President’s Suite – all featuring panoramic views of the ground. Above these sits the Lock Balcony and Terrace Bar, a stunning events space with 360 degree views taking in all the sporting action below and across London’s skyline.
Through careful phasing and huge efforts during the pandemic, One Oval Square was completed for the 2021 cricket season
