King's College Hospital
Artelia is project and cost managing the hospital’s required Modernising Medicine variation to the PFI Contract on behalf of the project company, HPC Kings College.
The project entails strip out and refurbishment of the first floor facilities to accommodate the following new departments:
- Acute Medical Unit (AMU): This unit will provide specialized care for patients with acute medical conditions.
- Cardiovascular Department: This department will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart conditions and related disorders.
- AMC Assessment: This facility will be dedicated to the assessment and evaluation of patients requiring care in the Acute Medical Care (AMC) setting.
Work begins on site in Autumn 2023 with a 13 month programme to completion.
