PROJECT - Insurance Reinstatement

Management contracting role for redevelopment of traditional and modern agricultural buildings to residential and leisure facilities.

ANG acted as Management Contractor and Cost Consultant on a £1.6m development centred around the restoration and retention of listed buildings on the farm forming an idyllic wedding venue set amidst 150 acres of Leicestershire countryside.

The new ‘Ceremony Barn’ was reconstructed to be in-keeping with the other buildings using a bespoke oak frame for the traditional barn roof.

The ‘Dining Barn’ has sprung from the original portal frame building, and now comfortably accommodates up to150 seated guests.

The exiting barn has been converted into the bridal suite, bar and offices.

The project was delivered ahead of time and value engineered to fit the budget which was a challenge as the funding was scrutinised by DEFRA and other institutions.

The completed project was extremely well received, and met the client’s brief for a durable and high quality finishes which can be described as refined, rustic and contemporary.
