Artelia worked with the Council and professional advisers to develop a masterplan and feasibility assessment for the redevelopment of the Council-owned Midleton Industrial Estate. The estate comprised 5.7 acres of 1970s warehouses of steel portal frame construction, most of which were at the end of their economic life and contained asbestos roofing.
The feasibility considered scheme-viability, with an analysis of local demand and values. The resulting scheme is being delivered in four phases, providing a range of flexible, small and medium sized units, which, when fully let will double the Council’s rental income.
