Modernisation of kitchen and catering facilities, Lady Margaret Hall College, Oxford

ANG Artelia Group acted as Main Contractor and Cost Consultant on a major refurbishment project to modernise the catering space at the College. The project was undertaken in a manner sympathetic to the building’s listed status as well as working to a tight programme to deliver the facilities. Minimum disruption to staff and students was a focus throughout.

Working within spatial constraints

Due to existing constraints with gas and electricity supplies, the kitchen equipment specifications had to be carefully considered in collaboration. Tight access routes and limited windows of time meant that delivery and installation of equipment had to be well managed and coordinated.
