RHS Wisley
RHS Wisley welcomes over 1.1 million visitors a year. The garden’s new £19.5M Welcome Building, project and cost managed by Artelia, transforms the entrance welcoming visitors into a light and airy arrivals hall with ticketing and visitor services. There is a stylish 100 seater restaurant, café, shop, and also a vast Plant Centre, covering the size of four Olympic swimming pools and including a wide span glasshouse of Dutch manufacture. The Centre stocks tens of thousands of plants, including rare and unusual varieties. As well as the new building, the project included extensive car parking and landscaping, creating an impressive arrivals experience for visitors as they enter the RHS’ flagship 240-acre garden.
