Sydenham House

Restoration of Grade 1 listed Elizabethan Manor

Largely dating from the early 17th century, Sydenham House in Devon, was severely damaged by fire, destroying areas of the roof and its Queen Anne gallery and with extensive smoke and water damage to the remainder of the building.

ANG Artelia Group managed the meticulous restoration including removal, drying out and repair of wood panelling, the restoration of 17th century plasterwork using silicone moulds to reproduce the decoration. All services were renewed, including the provision of a biomass boiler housed in a nearby barn.
