The 10 week Business Case
The capital investment business case for Princess Alexandra Hospital’s proposed new £17m Medical Assessment Unit, was developed by Artelia’s in just 10 weeks. Normally, this scope of work would take around 18 months to complete, but the Trust wished to accelerate the programme in order to meet a release of funding deadline from regulators. The Business Case is structured according to the HM Treasure Green Book ‘Five Cases Model’ – comprising a detailed analysis of the Strategic Case, Economic Case, Commercial Case, Financial Case, and Management Case and was developed with full clinical co-production to ensure it was consistent with the Trust’s clinical strategy and supports the provision of high quality care
