PROJECT - Management Contracting

Upgrade of Grade I listed accommodation and infrastructure, Oriel College, Oxford

ANG Artelia Group acted as Main Contractor and Cost Consultant for several conservation and improvement works within the Grade I listed 17th century College building.

Staircase 5 – (1) Upgrade of student and fellow rooms (2) installation of new switchgear panel and (3) upgrade of toilets and laundry.

Staircase 8 – (1) Introduction of ensuite facilities to student accommodation (2) upgrade to staff kitchen, utilities, basement and external roofing including leadwork and masonry repairs.

Consideration for College users

Works were co-ordinated and undertaken around the Staircases in phases to minimise disruption.

Great teamwork

The strong working relationship between the ANG Artelia Group Site Team, College Master of Works and Clerk of Works was integral to the successful delivery of these challenging projects.
