Royal College of Surgeons Celebrates Topping Out Milestone

Our Royal College of Surgeons redevelopment project in London’s Lincoln’s Inn has just celebrated an important construction milestone with the completion of the main structure. A traditional Topping-Out ceremony was performed by the President of the Royal College of Surgeons, Professor Derek Alderson and Chairman of main contractor, Wates Group, Sir James Wates.
With the main concrete frame now complete, work is continuing at pace with the installation of the precast concrete elements to the Portugal Street elevation, as well as the two boundaries on either side (see progress pictures below). Internal dry lining partitions have also been started. Artelia’s team is helping to keep the project on track.
