The Curve Library and Cultural Centre is part of a major regeneration of Slough Town Centre being delivered through Slough Urban Renewal, a Joint Venture partnership between Slough Borough Council and Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd. The £17 million building provides 4,450m2 of striking, three-storey accommodation for a new central library, as well as performance and teaching spaces, offices, museum and café.

The Curve, so named because of its complex geometry featuring two alternating curves on the entrance and a further on the roof, was a unique and challenging building to construct. The Artelia team, led by Richmal Hardinge, performed the role of Independent Certifier/NEC Supervisor, working closely with all project parties ensuring construction and fit-out compliance with the Project Agreement, in order to deliver this stunning building.
